Day 4: Protected, Not Exempt

Devotional God's protection doesn't mean we won't face difficulties. The Bible never promises Christians an easy life. Instead, God promises something far better - that through every trial, He will preserve our faith and keep our souls secure. Our endurance doesn't depend on how tightly we hold onto Him, but on how firmly He holds onto us.

But not a hair of your head will perish. By your endurance you will gain your lives. - Luke 21:18-19
