Faithful in the Fire — Day 5
Day 5: Trusting in God's Faithful Presence
Devotional
In our journey of faith, it's easy to place our hope in visible things - strong leaders, thriving programs, or personal achievements. But these will inevitably disappoint us because they're human, imperfect, and temporary. Our ultimate hope must rest in Jesus Christ, who loves His church more than we ever could and who promises to never abandon it. His faithful presence isn't dependent on our performance or circumstances. He remains constant through every season, every challenge, and every change.
"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God." - Psalm 20:7
Reflection Question
Where have you been placing your hope and trust? How might your perspective change if you fully embraced the reality of Christ's faithful presence in your life?
Jesus loves his church more than you do.
And he will not abandon it.
