Day 4: The Value of Spiritual Leadership

Devotional
Leadership in the church isn't just about organization and administration - it's about shepherding souls through life's challenges. Good spiritual leaders don't just point the way; they walk alongside others, providing both guidance and support. They understand that people need more than just inspiration; they need practical care, biblical wisdom, and consistent encouragement. This kind of leadership creates a strong foundation for faith communities to grow and thrive, even in difficult times.

" Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you." - Hebrews 13:17

Reflection Question
How has spiritual leadership impacted your faith journey? In what ways might God be calling you to lead or support others in their walk with Christ?

People don't just need courage, they need care.
They need leadership.
They need men who will feed them the word of God,
lead them toward Christ and walk with them in these trials.
~Pastor Mike Mura

Prayer
Lord, thank You for the gift of spiritual leadership in the church. Help me to both receive and extend godly leadership in ways that honor You and build up Your people. Amen.
