Day 3: Walking Through Fire with Jesus Devotional
When facing life's trials, we often feel alone in our struggles. But there's an incredible promise we can hold onto: Jesus has already walked through the fire before us, and He walks with us now. He's not a distant observer of our pain - He's right beside us, understanding every hurt, every fear, and every doubt. His presence doesn't always change our circumstances, but it changes us. We're not called to merely endure our trials, but to experience them with the One who has already conquered them.

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." - Isaiah 43:2

Reflection Question
In what ways have you experienced Jesus's presence during difficult times? How can you become more aware of His presence in your daily struggles?

The call to continue in the faith isn't to white-knuckle it through.
It's a call to walk with Jesus,
who went through the fire before you and who now walks with you through it.
~ Pastor Mike Mura

Prayer
Jesus, thank You for walking through the fire before me and with me. Help me to be more conscious of Your presence in my daily struggles and to trust in Your faithful companionship. Amen.
