Day 5: Already True, Already Yours
Devotional
Here is a truth worth sitting with today. You cannot be more forgiven tomorrow than you are right now. And you will never be less forgiven than you are in this very moment. Your acceptance before God is not a moving target. It is not about climbing on your good days or falling on your bad ones. It is fixed. It is anchored in the life Jesus lived perfectly on your behalf and the death He died completely in your place. Jesus walked in perfect alignment with the Father. Every thought, every action, every moment. He was never a hypocrite. He never added anything to God. And that perfectly aligned life, He lived it for you. He offers it to you. So the path forward for that sin you cannot seem to shake is not a new strategy. It is a deeper trust in an old truth. Come back to the hub. Come back to the Gospel. Not as a starting point you left behind, but as the living center you return to every single day. You are not defined by your wobble. You are defined by the One who holds the wheel together. And He is not finished with you yet. He is faithful, and He is for you.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.
And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God,

Do you actually believe that your acceptance before God is fully secured in Christ right now, and how would your daily life look different if you truly lived from that reality?

Prayer
Lord, I thank You that my standing before You does not depend on my performance but on Yours. Help me to live today from the freedom of what is already true, not striving for what You have already given. Amen.
