Day 4: Faith That Acts

Devotional
Paul didn't just believe God's promise - he acted on it. He stood up in front of 276 terrified people and declared with confidence that everyone would survive because God had spoken. That's the kind of faith that rearranges your life. Real faith doesn't just change what you believe; it changes how you behave. When your soul is anchored in God's promises, you don't just survive the storm - you start living differently in it. Paul began encouraging others, taking charge of the situation, and making practical decisions based on God's word. God's promises don't make obedience unnecessary; they make obedience possible. When you truly believe God's promises, faith moves you to action. You stop being paralyzed by fear and start moving forward with purpose, even in the storm.

And we know thatfor those who love God all things work together for good,
for those who are called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28

Reflection Question
How is God calling you to act in faith based on His promises, even while you're still in the storm?

“Real faith rearranges your life.” — Pastor Mike Mura

Prayer
Lord, give me faith that doesn't just believe Your promises but acts on them. Help me live differently in my storms because I trust in You.
