Day 4: Leaving Justice to God

Devotional
When we face hostility or injustice, our instinct often pushes us toward immediate retaliation. However, God calls us to a different response. We can rest in knowing that He sees every wrong and will ensure perfect justice in His time. This isn't passive resignation but active trust in God's perfect judgment and timing.

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath,
for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord.
- Romans 12:18-19

Reflection Question
How might your response to injustice change if you truly believed God would handle it perfectly in His time?

“Only the Christian worldview can give you this.
The satisfaction in knowing that perfect justice will be done.
In the final estimation of all things, justice will be done.
No one will get away with anything.”
~Pastor Mike Mura

Prayer
Father, help us release our desire for revenge into Your capable hands. Give us peace in knowing You will make all things right. Grant us patience to wait for Your perfect timing. Amen.
